Fundraising Dinner and Talent Show
Celebrate local climate and food security actions with us on March 10 with a delicious buffet dinner featuring local ingredients followed by a Talent Show!
This event caps off Day 1 of the first ever Northern BC Community Composting Convergence and MASH’s AGM at 5:30 pm.
Tickets are $50 each ($25 for kids 7-15) and can be purchased by contacting Laurie Gallant at [email protected] or through Eventbrite using the Buy Tickets button on this page. You will be taken to a different website with ticket options that include registration for our conference – just scroll down until you see Dinner. Don’t wait too long to decide as there are only 30 seats available and the cut-off date is March 3.
Proceeds will help us to continue to offer food scrap pickup services for local restaurants in the Hazeltons. Last year we composted 7400kg in five months!
For the Talent Show, the theme is COMPOSTING. We’ve got three great performances lined up with room for a few more. Folks can sign up on the spot or let me know in advance if you have a trick, song, demonstration, spoken word, a short activity to engage the room or or anything else you would like to share. There is a piano and a sound system available as well as a Tickle Trunk with costumes and an Equipment Library, so just ask if you have an idea that might need special props.
