Workshop

Apple Tree Pruning Workbee

March 24
Sunday
2:00 pm
-
4:00 pm

Graduates from our last pruning workshop will work with a new pruning student to care for the Hospital orchard.

Please bring a pair of pruners as we do not have enough to supply all participants.

Maximum 4 *new to pruning* people for this event but experienced pruners with tools are welcome. Please confirm in advance to avoid confusion at the site.

Free to members, $10 for non-members (the cost of a membership). We will try to have one more workshop before the end of March, weather dependent.

Unfortunately Carol Ponchet is not able to join us this Sunday due to illness.

Phil Muir has given us permission and gratitude for our workbee and also permission to pick apples in late August/September and potentially set up an apple pressing station right there if MASH has sufficient help 🙂

2510 62 Hwy, Hazelton BC V0J1Y0

The gardens are behind the Emergency Entrance and are surrounded by a chainlink fence. There are approximately 20 trees.

Please bring a pair of clean, sharp pruners. Borrow or purchase as we do not have enough extra tools for everyone.
