Community Composting Sale plus BearSmart Talk

Sunday May 4 – 12 noon to 4 pm. Community Composting Club hosted by MASH (mashazeltons.org) at the Old Chipper Yard/Composting Hub across the highway from the Hazeltons Visitor Info Centre. We are selling high quality compost for $10 per 20L bag or bucket (Bring your own bag or bucket BYOB). Quantities are limited with priority to participants in the 2024 Composting Pilot Project, MASH members and local growers and gardeners.

Join us for a  BearSmart talk with Rob Matthews of the Gitxsan Lax Yip Management Office at 1 pm, take home some information about Wildfire Preparedness and learn more about our Community Compost at 3 pm with Laurie Gallant.

We will be running our Wood Chipper so bring your yard trimmings and prunings for our chipping demo and learn more about our Mobile Woodchipping Services and rentals.
