Would you like to perform at one of our events?
Please submit a contact form and provide us with information about your act including style of music or workshop (i.e. covers – rock and roll, originals – instrumental classical, basket weaving or landscape painting) and ideal audience (i.e. family, adults only, all ages etc).
We also want to know about your performing experience. We love up and coming artists and want your performance to help boost your profile. Let us know about where you have performed (shower only, campfire only, open mic, local music festival etc) and provide two references for people that can speak to your talent and suitability for our event.
Once we have established a fit, we will draw up an agreement letter confirming date, time, length of set, and compensation details. We look forward to your performance!
Small is beautiful and the Hootenanny boasts a maximum capacity of 150 people including performers, staff, vendors and sound crew. To date, we have delivered two festivals, both at beautiful Bulkley Canyon Ranch. This venue is 100% solar-powered and is zero waste extreme, so only composting toilets were used (not pit toilets!) and an audit was completed for garbage, recycling, composting and fuel used for the back up generator. We hope to offer another Hootenanny in the future – team work makes the dream work – so get in touch if you want to help make a 2021 event happen.
Many thanks to Creative BC for funding our house concerts – inside at Curly’s Bar or outside on the grass, the music sounds great and there’s always a lot of smiling faces!
We’ve hosted three painting workshops as well as a series of six Art Classes in the Hazeltons to date.
